Mt. Morris High School senior Allan Dick has been selected as the January

Kiwanis Student of the Month. Allan lives with Mother, Lori. He has two

older sisters. The family doesn't have any pets at this time.

Allan is a very dedicated student. He currently has a 3.29 grade point

average and is ranked 31 st in the class of 20 11.

Allan is a high achieving student. He has many interests and involvements.

These range from sports participation to variety of other extracurricular

activities.

Allan is quite active in sports. He has participated on the football,

basketball, baseball and wrestling teams for the Panthers. He has been a

member of the Varsity football team for 2 years. Currently, he is in his

second season of representing the Panthers in wrestling.

Allan is an active member of the National Honor Society. With the N.H.S.

he helps run the blood drive, holiday gift giving program, and other

volunteer work.

Allan is also a member of EAJ's DECA chapter. DECA prepares emerging

leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, and finance, in high schools around

the globe. He recently participated in the local competition through DECA.

In his "spare time" Allan likes to relax with his family and friends. He is a

huge fan of "Call of Duty" for his X-Box.

After high school graduation Allan will be attending Mott to complete his

basic courses. He then plans on transferring to Western Michigan

University to major in computer engineering.
